Solange has over 16 years of experience in Educational Management, early grade learning, reading; community literacy, planning and implementing quality program activities across the country; school leadership & management, development of training materials, project proposal design, and working with government institutions and development & implementing partners at national and community level in Rwanda and Tanzania.

She worked as a Primary Teacher for 2 years, Head Teacher for 5 years, worked for Save the Children International-Rwanda Program for 8 years, and Spark Microgrants for 1 year. She served as Chief of Party on the $10 Million- five years USAID-funded Mureke Dusome Activity. She also served as Acting Zanzibar Representative in Save the Children International, Tanzania program. She is currently working for The World Bank as Education Consultant, based in Kigali-Rwanda.

Solange is passionate about the development of vulnerable people, girls and women empowerment, and the Education of Children with Disabilities.

Solange is a positive and committed team player who always strives to achieve goals at high standards and is eager to learn new things. Solange is well versed in designing and leading the implementation of complex projects and managing barriers to change. Solange holds a Master’s degree in Educational Management and Administration from Kampala International University acquired in 2012.
